- 13 languages in both directions: English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Russian, Hindi, Indonesian and Vietnamese. The spoken language is detected automatically.
Questions
Do I need an OpenAI account?
No. Tungs handles everything. If you would rather use your own OpenAI key, any subscription lets you, and then nothing is metered at all.
What happens when my minutes run out?
Your 120 included minutes come back at the start of each month. If you run out before then, Tungs offers 60 more for $9.99 inside the app, and minutes bought that way carry over.
Can I cancel?
Yes, at any time, from the billing page Tungs links to. You keep the minutes you have already paid for until the period ends.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. The first 10 minutes are free, with no account and no card.
Is Tungs available for Windows?
Yes. Tungs for Windows launches on 11 November and needs Windows 11. On a Mac it needs macOS 14 or later. There is no iPhone or Android app — Tungs runs on the computer you take the call on, and the person you talk to can be on any device.
